Michelle Malkin has a thorough round-up of examples of what you will not see in the MSM, in its reporting of the “May-Day” protests yesterday. Some of these pictures are tell-tale in what is the ghostly undercurrent of this illegal immigrant subversion.

…Gloria Ramirez Vargas is a local politician from Baja, California who spoke to the crowd today.
Ms. GLORIA RAMIREZ VARGAS (Politician, Baja, Calif.): (Through Translator) Many Mexicans are nourishing the ground in the U.S., but those lands were once ours. Those same lands, which now with intelligence, with love and with a lot of work, we are re-conquering again for our Mexico.

I could not refrain from sharing this with my readers. (It is just too damn funny!)

The point made in the “America is a continent, not a country” sign hinges on a technicality, a gripe about the use of “America” in reference to only the United States. But even this sign doesn’t get the technicality right. America is TWO continents (North and South America) and a host of islands that surround them, not one continent.
All their little boycott did was showcase how much we DON’T need illegals. The sun came up yesterday. The power stayed on. There were still vegetables at the grocery store. Lawns were still mowed. Bathrooms were still cleaned.
What are these supposed jobs that Americans won’t do? Americans work inside sewers. Americans farm pigs. Americans operate honey wagons. If Americans perform THOSE jobs, there are NO jobs Americans won’t do.
When is OUR boycott scheduled? When do we stop buying Mexican goods for a day?
And finally, why are all these illegals so gung-ho about changing OUR country, but not their own? Mexico is a poor country not because of a lack of natural resources such as oil (which they have), but because of political incompetence and corruption. Why aren’t they marching in their OWN streets demanding change instead of marching in ours?
When you’re a guest in someone’s house, you don’t demand they change their rules to accomodate you. You change your behaviour to accomodate their rules.
