Israeli warplanes destroyed the building housing the headquarters of Hezbollah guerrillas in south Beirut Friday, the group’s TV station reported.In an urgent flash, the station said the building housing Hezbollah’s leadership was destroyed.
It did not elaborate, nor say whether there were any casualties.
Hezbollah says the residence and office of its leader, Sheik Hassan Nasrallah, have been destroyed in an Israeli airstrike, but he and his family are safe.
